A recent study by the Technology Industries of Finland shows that 74% of the industry's skills needs are for highly educated people. The industry still needs about 3,600 new vocational graduates every year. The need to develop vocational education is emphasized, as we need an increasing number of skilled professionals who are employed or can continue to higher education.
