Leil, a Tallinn-based data storage infrastructure software company, has raised €1.5 million in seed funding led by Karma Ventures. The funding will be used to scale its software that makes high-density shingled magnetic recording (SMR) drives practical for enterprise-scale deployments, reducing energy consumption and costs.
